Trot Trot to Boston

To kick off our Memorial Day weekend we decided to take Hannah on her first trip to Boston. It was such a beautiful day today.

We started our day with a morning feeding at the lake in Melrose...




After Hannah's "picnic" feeding we headed into Faneuil Hall. Hannah had a great time. She loved seeing all of the street performers (even the creepy ones).

Next we headed over the waterfront. It was a bit windy but Hannah had fun anyway!



We ended our trip with lunch at Joe's Bar and Grill. We hope Hannah had as much fun as we did. It was such a thrill to be able to share such a great day with our daughter!!!

    I was just about to comment on what a lovely blog entry this was and how it looks like it was a lot of fun for everyone...then I got down to the bottom and read Kim's comment and nearly spit my juice all over the computer. But...I also wonder why you didn't take her there. Is that one bouncer guy still working there handing those out? I bet he would love Hannah. On second thought, you might want to wait and bring her at around 2am and she can see a few drunken throwdowns.

    As we were walking around we were showing her all of our "spots" and what drunken fools we used to be. we showed her where daddy peed on the building, where uncle joey used to make out with sausages, where mommy fell on a curb in the middle of the day before drinking, where we all used to stand at 2 am trying to get a cab convinced we could make it to mike's before it closed, and of course the hong kong. the site of so many of our 21st birthdays. unfortunately ladies i believe the hong kong was closed down due to a fire. not sure if it reopened. as we walked around we also warned her not to do the things that we did in there!!!!

    So now I hear some stories of you younger days !!! Hannah don't be influenced by these people. I love the picture of the 2 fisted drinker/feeder ..he'll never loose his touch!
    It sounded like a perfect day and glad you enjoyed it.
